- holyfuckingshit 19 days?!?!
ugh, what a slump.
really, though, i've been feeling exhausted. otherwise, i'm fine - just fried these days.
i don't mean to do this to you guys (or Ada).
as for my rumored Star Wars addiction (*cough*Gus*cough*), i wish that were true. i did get into the beta testing for The Old Republic, but it was so choppy on my computer that I couldn't spend more than ten minutes in it.... sigh.

i will say this. working as a projectionist at a first-run theater during the holiday season is very very taxing. all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...

- @Gibson Twist: my glass has water in it, but that'll work - cheers!

@Vitotamito: extended hours, semi-weekly new releases and seemingly everyday midnight shows with constant print moves *collapses* and i'm the only full-time projectionist. someone please call me a waaambulance.

@Mr Aids: i appreciate that people (you included, obviously) read this comic, and it killed me to not be able to update it for so long now. when i get out of this slump i'm gonna draw the most twisted fanservice, i fucking swear!

@The_Hankerchief: Merry Christmas, Hankins! wouldn't you know it, working at a movie theater - i'll be working on the eve and the day. really. someone dial 9-waa-waa.

@Gus: send your ninjas if you must - but know that none shall return to collect payment. and not because they're free-to-hire.

@SophieAva: my comic <3's you! :)

This particular season has drained many it seems. I didn't feel very "Christmassy" until the beginning of this week. If you need to, rest up! We will be here a-waitin'!

I work at a movie theater too. I don't do projection, I'm an usher and it was a stressful week for me. Still going to be up til New Years but at least I'm done working nine days in a row...

Wow, this is such a fun comic! I discovered it a few days ago and tried to limit myself to a couple pages a day. That didn't really work. Back in chapter one or two, Lisette and Ada go to have lunch at Peace o' Pizza, and there was a guy wearing a Rosemont sweater there. Rosemont is a town next to Bryn Mawr, and there is a Borders next to the Peace of Pizza there. Is that the location of 'Headers'?

Just talked to Jack. He is alive and well, and from what i can tell, he's recovering from the hibernation sickness well... Carbonite stasis can be a bitch.

@Guest: seeing as Borders no longer exists - yes, that location is definitely what Headers is based on. Same store layout, shopping center appearance, etc. There are other similarities, but I myself never worked there. I DID work at a bookstore or two - but they were for adults. and they also didn't sell books.
